Oyster Knife - Opinel

£16.95

The short and sturdy stainless steel blade of the Opinel No.9 makes it perfect for opening up oysters and other shellfish. The end of the blade is bevelled to enable you to pop open the shell with ease. The lockable stainless steel blade aids against corrosion and the Bubinga wood handle provides good resistance to moisture absorption. The Opinel knife is named after the Opinel family from the Savoie region in the heart of the French Alps, where they have remained unchanged for over a century. Its design is one of the most successful of all times and is recognised by the Victoria and Albert Museum as being among the 100 best designs. Made in France since 1890.
