Bathers by Charlotte Wyatt is an original acrylic on paper, presented in a gold frame. Inspired by a family who arrived on a beach in the South of France and, without hesitation, got straight to it. Their swift efficiency, and the wonderfully unceremonious way they arranged themselves, made Charlotte laugh then and still does now. There is humour here, but also something sharper. The work gently probes our curious relationship with sunbathing, indulgent and nostalgic
