We are always looking for the perfect thickness and size of a tea mug and this mug has it. Made from locally dug, raw South African clay, with either hand-painted vertical lines or a plane subtle glaze. Each mug is pleasing with its slightly wonky irregularities. Based in the small town of George in South Africa Wonki Ware work with over 100 local South Africans, and provide them with skilled training in pottery
Wonki Ware was founded by Di Marshall more than 20 years ago in a small town along South Africa’s beautiful Garden Route. What began with a team of just three has grown into a thriving community of more than 100 people. Dimensions: approximately 7.5cm (h) x 9.5cm (w) - Sizes do vary as each mug is individually thrown and painted which makes them all unique!
